How are lab grown diamonds made?

They are grown from a diamond seed using HPHT or CVD technology, which recreates the heat and pressure that form diamonds in the earth producing a real diamond in weeks instead of billions of years.

Can a lab grown diamond be told apart from a mined diamond?

Not by eye even trained jewelers can't distinguish them without specialized lab equipment. They have the same brilliance, fire and hardness as mined diamonds.

Do lab grown diamonds get cloudy or lose their sparkle?

No. A lab grown diamond is a true diamond 10 on the Mohs hardness scale so it never clouds, fades or dulls with normal wear.
