The client came to us with a photo of a classic six-prong round solitaire she admired clean band, no side stones, the diamond doing all the work. She loved the restraint of it but left our first conversation with one quiet request: she wanted the prongs to feel less architectural and more alive, something she described as the ring blooming around the stone. We kept everything she had fallen for the high-polish yellow gold band, the round brilliant center, the solitaire silhouette and evolved the prong head into a lotus-inspired crown where each petal is formed by two prongs fused together, adding both organic warmth and a more secure hold. The result is the Caraline, a 14K gold petal prong solitaire that carries the spirit of a traditional setting while giving it something unmistakably its own.
