Brief

The client arrived with a carefully curated mood board of cream ranunculus, folded linen, silk ribbons, and light filtered through cut glass. She described wanting a ring that felt luminous without being loud, something that balanced warmth and brilliance in equal measure. The aesthetic leaned romantic and refined, with an emphasis on how light moved through the design. She mentioned loving radiant cuts for their prismatic quality and asked about hidden details that would reveal themselves only on closer inspection.

We translated her vision into detailed three-dimensional renders that explored proportion and presence. The radiant cut diamond was modeled at her chosen 1.50 carat weight, its faceted geometry digitally refined to show how the seventy facets would capture and refract light. We tested band widths and halo placements, ultimately locking a concealed round diamond halo positioned flush beneath the center stone. The renders revealed how the hidden brilliance would animate the profile view, confirming the balance between the radiant's linear elegance and the halo's soft sparkle before any metal was touched.

Stone selection

We matched her vision of prismatic light and quiet elegance with a 1.50 carat radiant cut lab-grown diamond, IGI certified at E color and VVS2 clarity. Setting

The jeweler selected 14K gold for its ideal balance of durability and warmth, then engineered a hidden halo that sits beneath the center stone rather than surrounding it visibly. Twenty-four points of round lab-grown diamonds in E VVS2 were set into the concealed frame, creating sparkle that reveals itself only in profile and from below. The head was built low to maintain wearability, while six prongs secured the radiant cut in a classic basket that kept sightlines clean and allowed maximum light return through the pavilion.
